Milwaukee, WI – Humboldt Park Friends along with sponsors will host Bocce Benefit on Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Humboldt Park (3000 South Howell Avenue) adjacent to the tennis courts. The 16 team tournament begins at 12 noon lasts until 4pm. The benefit includes music, children games, food and beer. While the tournament is sold out, come on out, join the fun and cheer on teams while supporting the park.

Music will be provided by DJs from Radio Milwaukee and WMSE. The benefit is made possible by the generous support of our benefactors: the Avalon Theater, Saint Francis Brewery, along with our sponsors: Milwaukee County Parks, Toni Spott, Tenuta’s Enlightened Brewing Company, Eagle Park Brewing Company, Stag Barber Shop, Right Angle,

Home Inspections, The Chris Kellenberger Family, Lulu Café, Troubadour, Door County Fish Boil and Rushmor Records

The Bocce Benefit supports Humboldt Park Friend (HPF) programing such as Tree Day (a free annual educational environmental program) and the annual spring Easter Egg Hunt. Mostly recently was the lead organization on the bathroom renovation project for the Humboldt Park pavilion bathrooms.
