Humboldt Park Friends is holding its annual corn roast on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Grilled corn will be ready to eat by 5 pm. The corn roast was launched over twenty years ago by John & Penny Manke; Lurae & Terry Bauer and Ruth Simos, serving as a summer community gathering and fundraiser.

The corn roast is coordinated by Laureen and David Stirmel with support from volunteers and HPF members. John Manke is the honorary grill master. HPF thanks Pic & Save for its continued support with the awesome Wisconsin corn; Landmark Credit Union; and for promotional support given to our corn roast by BVNA during the Chill on the Hill concert.

The funds raised from this event support HPF’s free community programs – Easter Egg Hunt and the Tree Day Program as well as projects – bathroom renovations and the lagoon restoration project.
