Park Meeting 2/7/19
-Mike Bubolz ran meeting.
-Park clean up-Myron:
– no permit needed.

-Easter Egg Hunt – Jane LeCapitane:
-Sponsors solicited.
-1st Bank will help fill eggs as well as the Girl Scouts
-Lions Club will run breakfast, Jane called to coordinate.
-No raffle table this year, a special prize will be in a golden egg.
-Boccefest/ Bocce Benefit-Mike Bubolz:
-August 10th.
-Jeremy Fojut from Newaukee will help get volunteers.
-Tree replacement is the goal of raising money.
-Greg Collins from Forestry is a contact for trees.
-Considering sponsorships for trees.
-Lagoon Restoration-Tim Richter:
$1500.00 left over from the grant will be used to additional lagoon supplies, tools etc.
-Data are available for contractors for developing landscaping.
-Joanna will help HPF get water testing kits.
-Planning Phase with landscape architects may cost $20K-50K.
-Community meeting needs to be scheduled.
-Capitol campaign
-Membership-Mike Duchack:
-Iggy and Mike will meet to solidify the member tracking system.
-Revenue from membership fees could be used to cover insurance for a 501c3
-Steve Klein was suggested to set up a non-profit.
-Beer Garten-Jason Hass:
-Parks Dept solicited a bid for concessions in the pavilion this summer.
-County will run beer sales.
-Jason will try to preserve the HPF maintenance fund.
-Tim R spoke with Eddie Santiago but gave him a “stock answer”.
-We asked Jason what is left in the maintenance fund.
-Beer Garten will take credit cards this summer
HPF asked Jason about having better communication with the county.
