Humboldt Park Friends is a non-profit organization focused on engaging the Bay View neighborhood and greater Milwaukee communities and fostering park stewardship through volunteering, preserving park history, improving park amenities and safety, and sponsoring events and programming for education and enjoyment of Humboldt Park.

We host a free easter egg hunt every spring for kids in the community

We have raised funds to plant 100 trees at Humboldt park

We are working on a comprehensive lagoon restoration plan and organize cattail pulls and planting days

We own and maintain equipmentto clear the lagoon for ice skating

We organize and host bi-annual park cleanup days

We organize and host an annual tree day for community schools

We helped fund the pavilion bathrooms remodel and added a water fountain

We organize Jazz at the Vine a Jazz concert series at the Vine Humboldt beer garden

We created and provide a free Humboldt Park Ranger self-guided program

We hold an annual corn roast fundraiser that benefits the park
